A very common question I get is “I’ll be in Curaçao for one day on a cruise. What should I do with my time?”

This is an awesome problem to have, and an easy problem to solve. You have options.

First, there are several good tour companies that can arrange day tours. There are two excellent options noted on our “Friends of C4C” page. Or, hit me up…if I’m available, I might be able to show you around!!

I usually recommend that people rent a car for the day and explore on their own. In a single day, you have time to do either a “West” trip or an “East” trip. Both are great options and will be the best day on your cruise!!

(Note: Maps.me or Google maps both work great!!)

Head West!!

• go to Boca Tabla and Hato Caves, then head to a beach at Westpoint (check our Beach page for ideas). Most of them will have restaurants available. Then back to Punda/Otrobanda for some shopping before you get back on the boat.

Or

• do Mount Christoffel in the morning, Jaanchie’s for lunch, then either Playa Kalki or Playa Forti for a bit, then over to Cas Abao for some beauty.

Head East!!

• Ostrich farm in the morning, then Tugboat Beach for snorkeling, then Mambo beach in the afternoon for drinks and party time!! Then back to Punda/Otrobanda.

Or

• Sea Aquarium in the morning, Tugboat for Snorkeling, Jan Thiel beach for lunch and relaxation, then back to Punda/Otrobanda.
